Two Little Monkeys

Ladies and gentlemen -- we have a pair! I can't thank you enough for your encouragement the other day. I was pretty fed up with them -- bored, really -- and wanted to just MOVE ON! But I stuck with them and now have a toasty warm pair of socks to show for it.

It's only one sock, but something about this photo
in particular is deeply satisfying to me!

The lighting isn't all that hot, but
the important thing is -- these monkey truckers are done!

I do love the colour (this is close).
It's pretty fabu!

This was my first start-to-finish pair of Magic Loop socks. I can't imagine ever going back to DPNs! And yes, Cindy, I'm going to try two at once sometime very soon!

I was kitchener-ing the toe tonight and thinking about how magical it always seems. It's a big hairy mess for a few minutes and then I start cinching up the stitches. Zip zip zip and it's as if they were knit together. It amazes me every time!

What's next? Some baby knits asap and, hopefully, a pair of socks for my beau. I finally found a half-knit pair of socks that went missing in my apartment before Christmas so I might work on those too.

Off I go for now! I'll be back with some fun stuff soon. The lovely Loopy shared some love the other day and I need to pass it on.

I'm with you, Monkeys weren't terribly entertaining to knit and it's not a pattern I'd go back to though it was fine once through. Nice yarn choice!

Question -- I'm not at home and they aren't visible to me now -- are the photos showing up when you look at this post? Hope so! They were there when I left the house this morning. :)

Nice socks J! Look at how easy it all became when you took the plunge! They look great.
