I'm tired of wearing my winter coat. Tired of boots. Tired of layers. Tired of holding my breath as I step out the door in an attempt to avoid the inevitable nose freeze. Tired of watching my step. Tired of the ache in my lower back after my walk home over uneven, snowy sidewalks.
Screw it. I'm going South.
LOL. I am heading to SJ (an hour away) for the weekend, but not because the weather is so balmy down south. My beau is there and -- bonus -- there's a fibre festival happening at the Market! Woo!

Okay, I know it's not as cold where I am but oi, tell me about it. I walked outside last night to go home after knitting and proceeded to have a coughing fit due to the cold dry air. Add nosebleeds to my list of "it's too damn cold" complaints. I'm jealous you get to go to a woolfest :p (though I shouldn't complain, SPA is in sight now so I'll have some fiber fun of my own soon.)

I made the comment the other day that the problem with the weather here in Virginia is that it doesn't get quite cold enough -- hovering at 34 F (1 C) degrees leaving you feeling cold and damp -- but I guess I should be careful what I wish for. I hope you enjoyed the 7 degree increases and had a great weekend

I went to SJ last weekend, too. I'm there most weekends because my boyfriend lives there. I bought some yarn and tried needle felting for the first time. Hope you had fun!
All I have to say is BRRRRRRRR! There are many days when I really dislike living in Canada.
