As soon as I finished the clapotis, I knit a mitt. Although quick, I wanted more. So I dug out a few-months-old knitting magazine, counted my pennies, and headed for my LYS. Twenty minutes and several dozen dollars later, I was the proud owner of two balls of Noro Kureyon and 6 balls of Patons Canadiana in a beautiful pale pink.
The pink I've begun using for a blankie that will someday be festooned (!) with flowers...
(That's a shadow, not a stain, in the lower right block)
The Noro (#52 - night wonder) I'm going to use to make a pair of handwarmers from Stitch 'n Bitch Nation. The talented and handsome Yarn Boy has a pair on display.
OK. Bedtime. More soon.
Hope your new year is the best yet!

That's kind of freaky that you got the Noro Kureyon to make the handwarmers in S'n'BN, since I did the exact same thing over the holidays :) Different colour, though - mine's #95!
That's awesome! Have you started yours yet? Maybe we could have a mini KAL and compare notes?
I haven't started it yet, because I'm working on the wrist warmers from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts. I'm using some lovely raspberry alpaca I got at the same store.
But I'm all for a mini KAL :)
Awesome. Just say when. :)
When! :)
